Tim Moriarty is a filmmaker, actor and entrepreneur. He spent three years in formation with the Jesuits, deepening his understanding of faith, philosophy, and the power of storytelling. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy from Boston College and an M.F.A. in Acting from Louisiana State University. He currently lives in Seattle, WA with his wife Maria Jose and two children.
As an actor, Tim has appeared in television series such as Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, House of Cards, Luke Cage, and Manifest, as well as various films and commercials.
In 2017, he founded Castletown Media, a production company committed to producing high-quality content that reflects truth, beauty, and goodness. His work as a writer, director, and producer includes some of the most successful faith-based documentaries in recent years, including Mother Teresa: No Greater Love (2022) and Jesus Thirsts: The Miracle of the Eucharist (2024).
Currently, Castletown Media is producing a film about Blessed Carlo Acutis, in partnership with the National Eucharistic Revival. The film will be released in over 1,000 theaters on April 27—Carlo’s canonization date—bringing his inspiring story to audiences across the country.
