Casey Cowley

CEO of Casey Cowley LLC Attorneys

Casey was born and raised in New Orleans and went to Jesuit High School and LSU for college
and law school. Casey is a practicing lawyer in New Orleans and began his own
law practice roughly 10 years ago. His practice is dedicated to representing Hispanic
clients in the Metro New Orleans and surrounding areas.

Casey’s compassion for others and his desire to serve are rooted in lessons from his
childhood. Casey’s father, a dentist, would take their entire family to do mission work
once a year in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala. These trips to Guatemala were
important in the development of Casey’s ideas about life and your career as a vocation.
There, Casey saw firsthand the value of service. He learned through his father’s work
there that a profession is not just a means of financial gain, but it is also a way to serve
our communities and your fellow man.

During those years in San Lucas, Casey developed a deep interest in Latin culture and
the Spanish language. He knew from those early days that he wanted to use this
knowledge in his work. Casey took advantage of an opportunity while in law school to
study at Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. That experience was
invaluable to Casey’s development as a Spanish speaker. He took intense Spanish
immersion classes, fell in love with Argentine culture and ended up moving back to
Argentina and lived there during the course of three years.

Casey returned to New Orleans after living in Buenos Aires in 2010. Upon his return,
he knew it was his calling to live out his professional life speaking Spanish and serving
that community. Casey started his own law firm in 2013 at a small, one-room office on
Canal Street, and now has a firm with more than 25 team members and 2 offices, and a
mobile law center that travels to different parts of the state to service Hispanics in
outlying parishes.
