Damon is an international speaker and evangelist; in July, he spoke at the National Eucharistic Congress.
He was the first executive director of the Theology of the Body Institute.
He has dedicated three decades to evangelizing through the renewal of healthy relationship, marriage, and the family and speaks to a wide range of audiences around the world sharing the good news of marriage, sexuality, Theology of the Body, Theology of the Family, adoption and Natural Family Planning (he and his wife taught NFP for 14 years).
In 2018, he received the Benemerenti Papal Medal from Pope Francis for his work supporting marriage and family.
In 2020, Damon and his wife, Melanie, founded Joyful Ever After, a non-profit ministry dedicated to encouraging and educating couples to understand and live marriage and family life through the teachings of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body.
In addition to serving as the executive director of Joyful Ever After, Damon is the National Parish Engagement Officer for Communio, a non-profit that trains and equips churches to evangelize through the renewal of healthy relationship, marriages, and the family.
Damon is an accomplished gospel singer and was honored with a solo during the 1995 New Jersey Papal Mass at Giants Stadium presided by Pope St. John Paul II.
He and his wife Melanie have eight children and live outside Philadelphia.
