Deacon Adam Curtis began his extraordinary journey in Baltimore, Maryland, and took a significant step when he graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1985. The Navy's call brought him and his family to San Diego, a place they've proudly called home since. Over a distinguished 26-year career with the Navy SEAL Teams, Deacon Curtis wore many hats, including Range Program Manager and Executive Director of the Naval Special Warfare Center. Now, he plays a vital role as the Director of Preservation of the Force and Family at the Naval Special Warfare Command, ensuring the well-being of those who serve. Ordained in 2015, he extends his service to the community as a deacon at Ascension Parish in Tierrasanta. Adam and his wife, Bonnie, are devoted parents to five children, embracing both their family and their enduring commitment to service.
