Joe joined The Christman Company as a project engineer after receiving a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University where he graduated in the top 10 in his program. Since joining Christman, Joe has helped lead projects totaling over $600 million. Joe’s ability to effectively lead both projects and people has rapidly moved him through the ranks of leadership. Just two years after joining Christman he was promoted to assistant project manager and then to project manager just a year later. He was promoted again in 2014 to senior project manager, to project executive in 2019 and then to his current role as Vice President and General Manager in 2020. Joe focuses on forging lasting team relationships and establishing a future playbook for maintaining momentum in the face of significant challenges. He has successfully delivered buildings in a variety of our key markets, utilizing a wide array of contract types and delivery methods. Known for honoring commitments with not only integrity but patience and good humor, Joe sets the example for work ethic, positive energy, and consistently exceptional outcomes. Joe also is a member of the Christman Board of Directors. Joe was born and raised in South Lyon, where he currently resides; he completed all his sacraments at St. Joseph Parish. He is currently a member at St. Patrick Parish in Brighton where his three kids attend school.
