Get ready for a dynamic night of community, conversation, and savory beer samples! This Executive Speaker Series will have a very engaging and unique twist and seats are limited, so register today! Our event will be on Thursday, November 16 from 7:00 - 9:00pm at Most Blessed Sacrament in Arlington.
YCP Fort Worth is hosting its first-ever Beer Tasting coupled with a high-energy presentation from Deacon Steve Holton, our featured speaker. Meet other local Catholics in their 20s and 30s and enjoy an evening of discussion around being "In the World, But Not of the World." We will also be sampling some varieties of delicious beers and voting on which ones are best!
Bring 4-6 cans of the same cider, beer, or seltzer. During our time together, we will taste and rank all the beers at our tables. The ones who brought the top drinks at each table will win a special prize.
Everyone who registers before the event will be entered into a raffle for a copy of "Drinking with the Saints," a guide to a Holy Happy Hour with beer, wine, and spirits, with over 300 cocktail recipes.

About Our Presenter, Deacon Steve Holton
Deacon Steve Holton had a very powerful calling to Holy Orders. In the summer of 2010, he was struck deeply by a homily referencing Isaiah 6:8: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?... Here I am, Lord, send me." Walking out of Mass, he looked at his wife, Debi, and spoke of his personal calling, which she had also felt. That experience led him to pursue his diaconate vocation.
Deacon Holton's spiritual journey has been inspired by the strong faith models of his parents and extended family. His great-grandmother greatly impacted him with her example of devout prayer and daily walks to Mass. On top of his religious vocation, Deacon Holton has been blessed with a great career in marketing, sales, finance, and management in the luxury automotive, retail, and retail real estate industries. He is known for his very outgoing personality, friendly sense of humor, and warm ability to touch the hearts of others.
Deacon Holton is humbled and grateful to God to be a servant of Christ and others. He deeply loves his wife, Debi, who is a major gifts officer with Catholic Charities, and his wonderful family. Deacon Holton looks forward to spending time with us and inspiring everyone in their walk with Christ.
