Frank Kinney is a grateful and inspired husband and proud father of two compassionate and driven children (ages 16 and 13). As catechist and treasurer for HOA and HAYAA baseball/softball, Frank practices his faith in each of his specialties and pursuits. Frank is an experienced and collaborative finance executive that brings humility and passion to facts and figures to drive results. With 20 years serving as a Chief Financial Officer and executive management roles, applying managerial, financial and cost accounting experience into business strategy, Frank works to build and empower teams to effectively reach and exceed objectives. Currently serving as a fractional CFO to small, medium sized enterprises as well as a TCO Analyst for Lumen technologies, Frank aligns deployment of capital to enterprise value.
For the last 30 years, Chris has worked at various operational and pastoral roles in the Archdiocese of Detroit. In his primary role, he serves as the Mission Support Director for the Disciples Unleashed Family of Parishes (St. Isidore, St. Therese and St. Francis / St. Max) . In addition to this full time role, he serves as the Youth Minister at St. Mary of the Hills in Rochester Hills, a role that he has held for more than 25 years. Chris and his wife Sabrina have been married for 23 years and have 3 children ranging in age from 16-21. Chris has had the opportunity to speak on many topics in both ministries; in June he was a featured speaker at the Missionary Renewal Assembly, just last month Chris was a presenter at the International Catholic Stewardship Conference in Orlando. Also in October, he was a guest lecturer at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in the Dynamics of Parish Leadership class and had the opportunity to present his favorite topic (Utilizing Your Talent to Serve the Lord) to youth preparing for Confirmation. Chris continues to be humbled and honored to serve within the Church of Detroit.
Sr. Louis Marie professed her vows as a Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2010. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Secondary Education, with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She went on for graduate studies in philosophy at the Catholic University of America, graduating with her licentiate in 2018. While studying at CUA, Sister focused on understanding the philosophy of human virtue as described by Aristotle and developed by St. Thomas Aquinas. Sister has taught chemistry, physics, and biology at St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago and at Lansing Catholic, and she currently serves as the director of novices, working to form the new Sisters in religious life. She also serves on the community’s council and as the secretary general.
