Jack Schirra
Former Program and People Manager at Pratt & WhitneyJohn "Jack" Schirra retired from Pratt & Whitney in July 2020 as part of a Covid 19 workforce reduction after a 36-year career in various engineering management & leadership roles. He is married to Rosana "Roxanne" Schirra, has three children and resides in Ellington, CT where he is an active member of the Church of St Luke. Over the years, and in various parishes, he has served as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Parish Council, Committee Member for the Hartford Archdiocese Synod, Parish Choir, Property Management Committee, Religious Education, Parish Picnic and Small Faith Sharing Groups. In addition, he's been involved in both homeless, hospital & prison ministry. Beyond these activities he is a member of the Indian Valley YMCA Advisory Council. His discussion will highlight perspectives learned from his professional career, the deepening and evolution of his faith along with its impact on his personal and professional life.
