What technology do I need to participate?

Attendees will need a stable internet connection, a computer or mobile device with webcam access.

Is there a cost to attend the virtual mentorship event?

The Virtual Mentorship Event is free to all Chapter Leaders, Mentors, and Belong+ members. To participate in our event, sign up or upgrade to Belong+ by emailing help@youngcatholicprofessionals.org.

How can I access the event materials and sessions?

Once you sign up, you will be sent the zoom link invitation to join the event. There will be another reminder email with the zoom link closer to the event date and time. Any questions that the mentors will ask will be provided during the session.

What if I can't attend all the sessions in real-time?

Unfortunately, the sessions will not be recorded since we utilize the unique aspect of virtual breakout rooms. We hope to see you join us at the next event!

Will there be opportunities for networking with other attendees and mentors?

Absolutely! During the 45 minute breakout session, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with each other as well as with the mentors.

Can I ask questions during the mentorship sessions?

Yes, questions are highly encouraged for both the mentors and other attendees during the breakout session!

What topics will the event cover?

The topics will cover common workplace challenges young workers encounter.

How can I connect with mentors after the event?

Attendees are encouraged to exchange linkedin profiles or emails to continue networking outside of the event.

What is the dress code for the event?

Although it is a virtual event, it is still a networking event where attendees are encouraged to dress business casual.

Can I invite colleagues or friends to attend with me?

Everyone is encouraged to come! To attend the event, sign up for Belong+ membership by visiting youngcatholicprofessionals.org.

What happens in the breakout room portion of the event?

The mentor will start with an introduction and lead the attendees through a series of guided questions based off of the event topic. Attendees are encouraged to have their cameras on and participate!

What do I do if I have no mentor in my breakout room?

Please exit the breakout room so that our tech manager can reassign you to another room for fruitful discussion.
