Young adults in their 20s and 30s are invited to join the Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals for our Lenten Retreat at Mount Angel Abbey on Saturday, March 2.
We are thrilled to welcome Portland Archbishop Alexander Sample to lead this retreat as we reflect on the question, "Will You Let Jesus Change You?" Archbishop Sample will share how a personal encounter and relationship with Jesus radically transforms our lives, and why the events of Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection are central to the Gospel message.
This day retreat is an incredible opportunity to return to the heart of our Catholic faith and receive the healing grace of Jesus through the Sacraments, while also preparing for the events of Holy Week and growing in community with other young adults. We are also excited to incorporate a Eucharistic Procession into this year's retreat!
Retreat Schedule
We are quickly reaching capacity for this event, and the last day to sign up is Sunday, February 25!
Cost is $10 to help us cover the expense of lunch. YCP Belong members, as well as priests, religious, and seminarians, will receive a complimentary lunch. If cost is an issue for you, please email info@ycpportland.org.
All young adults in their 20s and 30s are invited regardless of career field - even if you don't consider yourself a "professional" or have not been to a YCP event before.
If you are interested in carpooling, we encourage you to help organize a car-pool with your parish or local young adult ministry!
We are grateful for the many sponsors and partners who are making this event possible! Click on the images below to learn about these fantastic organizations.
