St. Aloysius is a vibrant and diverse church community that serves Bucktown, Wicker Park, and Humboldt Park.

Please arrive at 9:30 and be ready to work! We will be doing a variety of tasks including:

1. Overall landscape cleaning (all garden & sidewalks) of the perimeter of the church and Theile Center. The boundaries (Church) are the city sidewalk west on Oakley to Claremont. The Theile Center area is north from Lemoyne to the south wall where the garbage cans are stationed. All trash must be picked up and areas are to be raked.

2. Scraping (old paint chips) of the parking lot carport cover of the church. Be advised that all scraping will be done on ground level. No one except church staff are allowed in ladders. Luis, the church engineer will provide scraping equipment and tools.

3. Painting (carport) will be addressed if there is time to complete the task after all other projects are done.

*Make sure to clean and leave all work areas in order after completing volunteer work.

Tips: Please wear appropriate clothing. Work clothes that include long sleeves, long pants, proper footwear. Bring their own personal yard gloves if they have a pair.

The church will have latex gloves available, as well as plastic garbage can liners.

When the work is done or by 12:30, we can find a nearby lunch spot.
