Run by the Community of the Beatitudes, Jesus Our Hope Hermitage is nestled in a secluded area of the front range, just 25 minutes west of Littleton. The consecrated retreat grounds and two cabins provide a refuge for individuals and groups to find God through prayer and silence.
But the beautiful cabins and grounds don't maintain themselves! Join fellow YCP members on Saturday, June 1st for a day of work maintaining and improving the grounds and facilities.
TIME:
We will begin the day with Mass at 8am sharp followed by a light breakfast. Please plan to arrive by 7:45am so you're not late for Jesus. Following breakfast, we will get to work! Lunch will be provided. We will wrap up around 2:30pm.
Some of the many projects may include:
- Painting
- Caulking
- Restoring statues
- Interior maintenance
- Pulling weeds
- Weed whacking
- Mowing
- Lopping bushes
