This year, YCP Atlanta is having THREE retreats! All three will be based on Pope St. John Paul II's Apostolic Exhortation "Christifideles Laici - On the vocation and mission of the lay faithful in the Church and in the World."
JPII states, "Communion and mission are profoundly connected with each other, they interpenetrate and mutually imply each other, to the point that communion represents both the source and the fruit of mission: communion gives rise to mission and mission is accomplished in communion." -CL, 32.4
Join us in the spring, summer, and winter as we learn more about our vocation as the lay faithful and explore our baptismal roles of priest, prophet, and king!

This month, we will focus on our baptismal role as priest!
Our Keynote speaker will be Alycia Murtha, our Co-Director of Evangelization. We are honored to have her speak at this month's retreat. Her reflection, "Where Are We?", focuses on God's question to Adam and Eve after the fall. We will explore our baptismal role as priest to better order our lives, enter into deeper communion with God, and better fulfill our mission within the Church. As always, we look to St. Joseph as our guide!
Event Details
- Open & free to all young adults ages 20-39 years old.
- Light breakfast and Chick-fil-A lunch will be provided!
- Our retreat will feature Mass, confession, adoration provided by our chaplain Fr. John Klein, a keynote given by our Co-Director of Evangelization Alycia Murtha, & time for small groups.
