YCP brings together young workers and seasoned business professionals in a variety of programs to foster Catholic identity, encourage community, and inspire action


Executive Panel Discussions are member-exclusive events promoting focused conversation about living virtuously in the workplace. Three panelists lead the discussion about a particular virtue and what it means to practice that virtue in daily life


After the panel, table leaders bring the discussion down to the individual level. At the end of the evening, a representative from each table shares their collective insights with the rest of the group


Attendees enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers and have a chance to socialize before and after the evening's discussion.

Omar Fernandez is a Speaker for LIFENET, a New Jersey-based non-profit educational organization dedicated to achieving equal rights for babies in the womb through education, networking and advocacy. Additionally, LIFENET is invested in reaching young people and adults with the sexual integrity message as a solution to the abortion problem.

Omar has extensive experience in evangelization, having worked for a year for NET Ministries, a youth evangelization ministry. Omar traveled all over the U.S. bringing the Gospel to teens through retreats and large group presentations. Omar is a parishioner of St. Cecilia's Church in Kearny, NJ, his hometown. He started off as an alter server in 1990 and now is the Master of Ceremonies and head of the Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. He has been a Catechist at his parish for almost 20 years and now alongside his wife Jennie, teaches RCIA for adults. This past year, Omar has been assigned as a Master of Ceremonies for the Archdiocese of Newark at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Newark. Some of Omar's acknowledgements/awards include:

-Archdiocese of Newark Parish Adult Award: 2007

-Catechist of the Year for St. Cecilia's Church: '16-'17 and '23-'24


Omar's LIFENET duties include making pro-life and chastity presentations in churches and schools and meeting with pastors and religious educators to explain LIFENET's vision and the services we offer.


Omar and his wife Jennie reside in Little Falls, NJ.  

Megan Kret is a graduate from University of Delaware where she studied health sciences. She pursued a degree in occupational therapy, obtaining her masters from Kean University. She has a background in neuroscience and worked with children and infants with brain injuries for the past three years. She recently transitioned to work at a school for children with disabilities. She is a project coordinator and speaking consultant for LIFENET, a New Jersey- based nonprofit educational organization dedicated to supporting equal rights for babies in the womb. She has the opportunity to educate teens and young adults on pro-life and chastity values.

Dr. Mary Marron-Corwin is a Nationally respected physician, teacher, lecturer and author. In her 40 year career as a specialist in Neonatal Intensive Care, she has been recognized as a top Neonatologist by: USNews and World Report, New York Magazine, Castle & Connolly Top Doctors, Catholic New York and has been featured in a number of TV documentaries. Recently retired as Chairman of Newborn Medicine & Pediatrics at Harlem Hospital, NYC, and Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, Columbia University, Dr. Marron-Corwin spends her time volunteering in various Catholic ministries and with her husband and three grown children (all of whom had been high risk pregnancies).

Allan F. Wright is a Husband, Father of four, Author of 21 books & Speaker. He is an Adjunct Prof. at Seton Hall University & Catholic Distance University, The former Academic Dean of Evangelization for the Diocese of Paterson and currently the Executive Director of the New Jersey Family Policy Center. He has taught Sacred Scripture to the Missionaries of Charty (Mother Teresa's Sister's) for the past 17 years and has appeared on Fox News and Relevant Radio multiple times speaking of faith and evangelization. www.allanwright.org  www.NJFPC.org
