Join us for a Service Saturday event at Caring for Friends in Philadelpiha. If you are looking to connect with a smaller group of YCPers, make new friends, and give back to your community, this event is for you!
For this YCP service day, we will be working in the kitchen to prepare food for those in need!
Caring for Friends provides food and friendship to homebound seniors, veterans, homeless, and families with children in need. Caring for Friends provide ready-to-heat meals, caring visits and cards, and fresh/pantry staple food items that support hunger relief in the five counties of Greater Philadelphia.
Caring for Friends is also in need of donations. Please consider bringing some of these donations listed here, so that they can continue to provide for those who are hungry in our community.
Canned Items: Beans, chicken, fish, vegetables, fruit, soup/stew/chili
Boxed Items: Rice, pasta, breakfast items, crackers
Other Items: Peanut butter, jelly
