"Male and Female, He Created Them: Authentic Masculinity and Femininity in the Modern World"
"And God created man to his own image…male and female he created them" (Gn. 1:27). For thousands of years, Scripture has served as the basis for Church teaching on gender and marriage. But, in the last decade, pressures from modern technology and mass culture have distorted our very understanding of what it means to be man and woman.
What is masculinity and femininity these days? Why has it become so difficult to answer that question? What can young professionals do to live more authentically?
In this dynamic talk, Eric will explore the sociological origins of our modern state, and draw from Scripture as well as from Western Tradition to lay out a path for young Catholics to live and love in the modern world.

In 2014, Eric helped to found the San Antonio chapter of YCP and served on the board of directors for several years.
