Join YCP Chicago in a special volunteering event with Kolbe House Jail Ministry to write letters of encouragement and support to individuals who are incarcerated.

Kolbe House is a sanctuary for those impacted by the criminal justice system, and through their ministry, they promote restoration, healing, and reconciliation for the incarcerated, their families, and the community at large.

By volunteering with Kolbe House, we will become part of a compassionate community, opening our hearts to those who often feel forgotten. Writing a letter is a simple but powerful way to offer support and hope, reminding individuals in prison that they are not alone—that they are remembered, seen, valued, and loved.

Kolbe House, an agency of the Archdiocese of Chicago, follows the example of St. Maximilian Kolbe by bringing God's merciful love into places of despair. With this letter-writing initiative, we'll not only brighten someone's day, but also help foster a deeper sense of connection and compassion within our community.

Join us in sharing hope and joy with our incarcerated brothers and sisters in Christ this upcoming holiday season!
