The Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals invites all young adults in their 20s and 30s to a free Executive Speaker Series with Steve Fein, Managing Partner at Moss Adams!
Join us at Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Portland for a time to socialize and meet other young adults, enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages, spend time in prayer together, and learn from Steve's experience.
During this month of October dedicated to the Holy Rosary, join us at 6:30 pm in the Church to say the Rosary before the event! If you have never prayed the Rosary before, not to worry - we will walk you through it! In the meantime, use this link to read about this beautiful devotion.
The main event runs from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the parish hall, and includes a social with appetizers, prayer, and a talk / Q&A with Steve Fein.
YCP's Executive Speaker Series are free events open to the public in which experienced professionals share their career and faith journeys, challenging young professionals to "Work in Witness for Christ."
About Our Speaker
Steve Fein is the Pacific Northwest Regional Managing Partner for accounting and consulting firm Moss Adams. In this role, he manages approximately 1000 employees and 105 Partners across Oregon and Washington, and serves on the Moss Adams Executive Committee.
Steve has practiced public accounting since 2000, providing tax services to companies in multistate and foreign jurisdictions. He has consulted in a wide range of areas, including forest products industries, transition planning, business acquisitions, and tax incentives for research and development, domestic manufacturing, export activities, and alternative energy projects.
Outside of work, Steve serves on the Catholic Charities Board, as well as the Finance Council and new school building committee for St Anthony Catholic Parish. He received the University of Oregon Leo Harris Award for 20-years of service and achievement. He enjoys being active: he has summited Mt Hood and run a sub-4 min mile! Steve has been married to his wife Monika for 14 years. Together they have 3 girls and 1 boy from ages 4 - 12, who all attend school at St. Anthony's School!
He will be discussing his vocation and working in witness for Christ in the corporate workplace.
Please note that the 6:30 p.m. Rosary will be prayed in the church. (Note that the church faces SW Patton Rd)
