The Portland Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals invites all young adults in their 20s and 30s to a free Executive Speaker Series with Maureen Donahue, a Retired General Electric and Chick-fil-A Corporate Executive.
Join us to socialize and meet other young adults, enjoy complimentary appetizers and beverages, spend time in prayer together, and learn from Emily's experience.
The main event runs from 7 - 8:30 p.m., and includes a social with appetizers, prayer, and a talk / Q&A with Maureen.
You are encouraged to join us for Mass at 6 p.m. in Saint Patricks' Church. The Sacrament of Confession will also be offered following Mass and before the official YCP start time of 7 p.m.
YCP's Executive Speaker Series are free events open to the public in which experienced professionals share their career and faith journeys, challenging young professionals to "Work in Witness for Christ."
About Our Speaker
Maureen Donahue is a respected leader and strategic consultant who recently retired from a distinguished corporate career spanning over 30 years. With expertise honed at major corporations like Chick-fil-A Inc., GE, and throughout her two decades of military service, Maureen has established herself as an insightful problem-solver and driver of sustainable growth.
Maureen ended her corporate career at Chick-fil-A Inc. after 12 years. She was a Business Consultant for three years providing strategy, financial, process, and human resource consulting to 30+ franchisees in the mid-Atlantic. Maureen then moved to Franchise Selection and led the franchise selection program in the Midwest for two years followed by leading the Franchise Selection Consultant team for two years. She became the Executive Director leading the entire Franchise Selection Program for the company for her final six years.
Prior to Chick-fil-A, Maureen spent 14 years with GE, first in GE Capital as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and later in GE Healthcare. She spent seven years in healthcare applying her expertise in process improvement strategy and design, change management, and team and leadership development.
She also held positions in manufacturing at Clarke American Inc. and in the automotive battery industry with Johnson Controls Inc. Maureen served 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after active duty, national guard, and reserve roles.
Maureen received her undergraduate degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds master's degrees in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and Business from Webster University.
Maureen and her husband Steve enjoy living in Oregon in the summer/fall and in Florida in the winter/spring.
